All submissions should be typed in 12-point font (preferably Times New Roman).
Include the author's name and address on the top of the first page of each submission.
Pages must be numbered.
We consider simultaneous submissions but ask that you notify us promptly if your work is accepted elsewhere.
Prose should be double-spaced. Poetry should be single-spaced with only one poem per page.
Please submit only one short story or nonfiction piece at a time; up to five poems per submission. When submitting multiple poems, combine them in a single Word document or PDF file.
There are no restrictions on subject matter, form, or length (extremely long pieces are somewhat at a disadvantage—but we have published them in the past and will continue to do so). Anything of excellence is welcome.
Reporting time varies from one to six months. We try to respond as quickly as possible, but as with most literary journals, we sometimes get behind. Be assured that all submissions receive our serious consideration.
